Observation is valuable. Attribution is harder. We keep them separate on purpose.
How compatibility records work
A compatibility record is separate from its evidence sources. It can be published only after an evidence reviewer links at least one approved source, records confidence and notes the last verification date. Conflicting sources remain visible as conflicting evidence.
How reports work
Reports enter a moderation queue. We check consent, privacy, completeness, duplication and safe wording. Public versions use a generated public ID, approximate location and evidence level. Private attachments remain private unless redacted, scanned and approved for a derivative.
How aggregates work
Public dashboards use cached aggregate tables in production. Tiny cohorts are suppressed, exact pump locations are excluded unless independently approved and raw comments are never surfaced without moderation.
What we do not claim
- We do not claim that E20 definitely damages engines.
- We do not infer compatibility conclusively from year alone.
- We do not treat a user report as proof of causation.
- We do not count an unverified petition signature publicly.
